Iron came from outside of the earth, and so did water. Water came from planetisimal ice. Planetisimal is solid objects in protoplanet disc. Meanwhile, iron was sent to the earth from supernova, a giant star explosion.

Due to these similar phenomena, I combined the word ‘water’ and ‘iron’ to be ‘watiron’. I painted it as a water ball that merges with a bunch of iron gears.

In general, this painting is inspired by Surah Al-Hadiid, the 57th letter in the Koran, especially verse 25. Al-Hadiid literally means iron. The verse states that iron was sent down from the sky, not produced by the earth.

That water is also not produced on earth is in accordance with the Koran, surah an-Nahl verse 10, “It is He who has sent down water (rain) for you from the sky, some of which becomes drink and some of it (fertilizes) the plants, on which you graze your livestock.”
