This painting was inspired by the courage of the Hamas Al-Qassam Forces and other Palestinian fighters in facing Israel.

The center of attention of this painting is the Al-Aqsa Mosque in a big explosion. Thousands of combat equipment that are proud to be the most sophisticated tanks in the world can be easily disabled by simple weapons. In fact, Hamas soldiers bravely and calmly put bombs on tanks at a distance of 0 meters.

This is depicted by all the Merkava tanks that can no longer function, their muzzles are bent by olive trees as a representation of Palestinian fighters.

The Dome of the Rock was chosen because it is the most distinctive form in the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is an important building for Muslims because it was the first Qibla before Muslims turned to the Kaaba in performing prayers.

In addition to being the First Qibla, its location has been in the territory of the Muslim Community since the time of Caliph Umar bin Khatab. Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine continued to be fought for with great drama by Salahudin Al-Ayubi and defended by the Caliphs of the Ottoman Dynasty. However, because the Ottoman Caliphate collapsed, Al-Aqsa Mosque was no longer guarded by the supreme leader of the Muslim community, so that the Zionist Israel arbitrarily abused its existence.

The Dome of the Rock, as it is called in Arabic, is painted in water reflection to say that Al-Aqsa Mosque cannot be separated from the minds of Muslims even though now Al-Aqsa is the first Qibla whatever its current condition, which was built during the Umayyad Caliphate.

Why did I paint the Dome of the Rock in the reflection of water? This is to represent, whatever the current situation, the most special mosque after the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque cannot be separated from the minds of Muslims. Moreover, the Dome of the Rock, as it is called in Arabic, is the place where the Prophet Muhammad PBUH stepped during the Isra Mikraj journey.

But why is the First Qibla of Muslims painted in the shadow of water? Why is it surrounded by many tanks whose muzzles have been bent by olive trees? Let’s explore the meaning.

All the Merkava tanks there can no longer function, because their muzzles are bent by olive trees. Meanwhile, the circular shape that surrounds the Al-Aqsa Mosque shows that it is the qibla, the first qibla of Muslims.

In addition to being the First Qibla, its location has been in the territory of Muslims since the time of Caliph Umar bin Khatab. The Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine continued to be fought for with great drama by Salahudin Al-Ayubi and defended by the Caliphs of the Ottoman Dynasty. However, since the Ottoman Caliphate collapsed, the Al-Aqsa Mosque is no longer guarded by the supreme leader of the Muslim community, so the Zionist Israelis arbitrarily abuse its existence.

WHY IS PALESTINIAN AL-AQSA PAINTED ON FIRE?
