As the Koran, iron was sent down by Allah from heaven. This is written in Surah Al-Hadid verse 25, “Indeed We sent Our Messengers with Clear Signs, and sent down with them the Book and the Balance that people may uphold justice. And We sent down iron, wherein there is awesome power and many benefits for people, so that Allah may know who, without even having seen Him, helps Him and His Messengers.”

Iron was set down to the earth from supernova. The giant star explosions tossed away iron to the earth and to any areas of the universe. 

This watercolor painting depicts the iron phenomenon. Besides, I present a composition of books that tell that iron was sent down from heaven to the earth.
